Naksh (Persian for Embroidery)

Beautiful and fine chikankari embroidery done on delicate Banarsi organza suit. The hemline, sleeve cuffs and dupatta anachal have 'Daraz' and 'Jawa' work, also know as Cutwork /Applique. A variety of  differnt stitched like Bakhiya, Murri, Fanda, Chana-patti and Ghas-patti have been used on the motifs. The dupatta is heavily embroidered with 'Keel' (nail) jaal all over.
